Learn to safely ferment all manner of things in my light filled Bridport kitchen. We'll make our own seasonal kimchi, some ginger brined carrots, preserved clementines to perk up your winter salads and stews and some fermented almond feta to delight anyone investigating plant based eating. you'll also learn how to make water kefir, milk kefir, kvass and labneh and there will be tasters of a host of pickly things including fermented umami powders. We'll take a break for a simple vegetarian lunch.
Groups will be no larger than 8, so lots of opportunity to ask questions and get individual attention! The days are always lots of fun, hanging out with like minded souls and being silly while you learn. Apparently you learn more if you laugh a lot...
The course costs £120 including lunch and includes all the jars you will need for the day - just bring a sturdy bag to carry them home in. I will email all recipes to you after the course. If you need to cancel for any reason, I’m happy to give you a full refund if you can find someone to take your place. Otherwise, 50% is non refundable and the whole balance non refundable if you give less than 2 weeks notice.
