Learn to safely ferment all manner of things in my light filled Bridport kitchen. Depending on seasonal availability we'll make kraut or kimchi, a brine pickle like fermented carrot sticks, a citrus pickle like preserved seville oranges or lemons a fermented chutney or jam - like fig butter or maybe some probiotic ketchup. you'll also learn how to make and care for water kefir, milk kefir, kvass and labneh. We'll take a break for a simple lunch of soup, salad, sourdough toast (gluten free), labneh and a host of pickles.
Groups will be no larger than 8, so lots of opportunity to ask questions and get individual attention! The days are always lots of fun, hanging out with like minded souls and being silly while you learn. Apparently you learn more if you laugh a lot...
The course costs £115 including lunch, but I do ask you to bring your own jars and apron, or can send you home with your pickles in bags to jar up at home. I will email all recipes to you after the course. The deposit to secure your place is £55 with the balance payable no later than 1 week before the course date.
