I'm excited to be hosting a Happy Gut tutored tasting at Abergavenny this year. The hour long session takes you on a whirlwind tasting tour of fermented food, probiotics, polyphenols, antiinflammatories and most importantly deliciousness! I'll talk through what you're tasting and give you some important gut health tips along the way whilst demonstrating some simple ferments for you to make at home. You'll be able to purchase much of the food from stalls around the festival and producers have kindly donated some delicious things for you to try. Fasten your seatbelt!
I'll also be doing two cookery demonstrations at the River Cottage fire pit, Late summer Happy Gut salads and ferments and gluten free campfire cooking, with quinoa chapattis, black dal and campfire cake - which we will eat still warm with spoons while I pour cream or coconut milk over the top. Omnomnom!
